Arillas The beach of Arrilas is situated approximately 35 km from the island's capital. The Bay of Arillas has a long sweeping beach with clear blue sea and fine sand, one of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu especially for the lovers of quiet, relaxing holidays. Agios Gordis Located on the west cost of the island 35 minutes from Corfu Town. An extensive sandy beach, its main feature is Ortholithi, a rock which soars from the sea at the southern corner of the Bay. The natural beauty of the locality attracts many visitors and it boasts lorge hotels and smaller complexes, constructed in harmony with the surroundings, as well as numerous restaurants and bars. A frequent bus service links the beach with Corfu City, allowing easy access. Barbati Quite beautiful sandy beach in the settlement of the same name, near Nissaki, 21 km north of the island's capital. You will find plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for hire. Being a blue flag beach is kept clean and the water is very clear. Glyfada Beach Glyfada is situated on the west coast, which has some of the finest beaches on the island, where golden sand stretches for miles Gialiskari beach Located on the west coast of Corfu island , surrounded by tropical nature. Here you will find more peace and quiet than other Corfu beaches, however with all the comforts of the other beaches as there are bungalows facilities for snacks and meals available. Paleokastritsa Paleokastritsa lies at two bays between impressing steep coasts before a scenery of thick slopes full of cypresses and olive trees. Agios Mattheos - Paramonas The village of Agios Mattheos is hidden inside an impressive forest, its houses are a combination of old stone and new which combines the past and the present. Also nearby is the beach of Halikounas with its famous sand dunes and crystal clear water and the lake Korrision where fish farming is applied and where you can buy fish at a low price. Agios Spyridonas Agios Spiridonas is located on the north coast of Corfu between Kassiopi and Acharavi and has been recognized by the European Community for its crystal clear water. Agios Stefanos - Avliotes Agios Stefanos, Corfu, Greece, a small friendly community on the north-west coast of the island near arillas that boasts one of the best sandy beaches on the Ionion islands and is regarded as particularly safe for children. Dassia Beach Like much of Corfu, the beach is narrow but the sea is clean and shallow. Maltas The beach is a boundless sandy coast and the sea is one of the clearest in this island. It's an all green place, a beautiful hill of trees wich ends to the south-west beach of the island. Not far away from the houses, there are restaurant-bars, taverns, greek dancing, mini markets and telephone boxes.
