FERRIES TO CORFU FROM MAINLAND (IGOYMENITSA) GREECE
The most common ferry crossing between the mainland and Corfu is Igoumenitsa-Corfu Town. The journey takes approx 1-½ hr and there is at least one sailing per hour between 5.15am and 10pm year round, sometimes two or three per hour in summer. The standard fare is 5.80€ (cars from 25- 30€ depending on the size) and there is never any problem finding a place aboard. Passenger-only hydrofoils run the same route several times a day in season, taking half the time but costing about twice as much.
